Eat at Andrew’s is a wonderful eatery in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands which offers a fantastic cup of coffee, supplied by local roasters, Terbodore, and an interesting menu to complete the experience.
The restaurant has just celebrated its first year anniversary, “It’s been a wonderful year full of experience and growth, we are so grateful for all the lessons and look forward to the future with great excitement” says Andrew.
With an emphasis on locally sourced produce, Eat at Andrew’s bucks the trend with some of the menu ideas, allowing for a more interactive dining experience.
Vegetables are grown locally and feature strongly on the menu, but the restaurant caters for meat eaters as well… along with the emphasis on local produce with low carbon, the restaurant also has wonderful Gluten Free options for those of us who are mindful of their gluten intake. The flour used is consciously chosen from the Champagne Valley range of stone ground, GMO and bleach free flours. Except for our sourdough bread, all baking is done in house.
Andrew and his supervisor, Elsie Walsh, head up a wonderful and vibrant team who bring you a great service and food experience all in a classic and peaceful garden setting.
All the Eat at Andrew’s front of house staff Barista trained which ensures a great coffee experience no matter which day of the week you visit.
This is a great comfort as Andrew will be taking a well-deserved break from the 16th through to the 25th March, visiting family and finding inspiration for the new menu.
The restaurant is open seven days a week, from 09:00 16:30 Mondays to Saturdays and from 09:00 till 15:00 on Sundays. Eat at Andrew’s serves breakfast and lunch but the team does evening functions and catering for private parties as well.
