DESCRIPTION:Howick High School is honoured to be hosting the Milton Academy Jazz Band f
 rom the USA. The academy’s jazz music department\nhas been acclaimed as amo
 ngst the best in America. Over the years they have played twice at The Whit
 e House for Presidential receptions and for Archbishop Desmond Tutu.\nFacil
 itated by the Rotary Club of Hilton & Howick, the band are visiting Sou
 th Africa on an outreach tour, which they have done every 2nd year since 19
 91. On these tours, students have delivered over $265,000 worth of donated 
 music instruments and materials to underprivileged South African school mus
 ic programs.\nWe are delighted to bring this opportunity to the uMngeni com
 munity to enjoy this amazing band perform and bring us 'The Joy of Jazz'. T
 he show takes place on Tuesday, 14 March 2023 at 18:00 in the Howick High S
 chool hall. Tickets are R100 per person or R50 per learner in school unifor
