DESCRIPTION:<p>The third edition of the Karkloof 100-miler will take place on the 20th 
 September 2019. One of KZN's only 100-mile trail races, the out-and-back ro
 ute starts from Yard41 in Howick and takes runners along the edge of the Um
 geni Valley deep into the beautiful Karkloof, to Benvie Gardens where they 
 turn around and head back to Howick.</p><p>The 50-mile event takes place on
  Saturday, 21st September, starts from Benvie Gardens and takes runners bac
 k towards Howick, ending at Yard41.</p><p>The 2019 Karkloof 100-miler has o
 fficially been recognised as a qualifying race for Western States Endurance
  Run 2020.</p><p>Having captured the imagination of the ultra-trail running
  community in South Africa, the race has attracted top class local athletes
  as well as amateurs looking for their biggest challenge to date. Following
  the success of the inaugural race in 2017 and an incredible 2018 race, the
  2019 event looks set to be bigger and better than before!</p><p><img src="
