August was another quiet month in the UCSI cameras. A lot of poaching incidents reported, but few vehicles involved.
We have installed a new gantry at Mpophomeni, thanks to the uMngeni Municipality.
The Gantry on Curry’s Post Rd at Siteka T junction has had a full Solar system upgrade.
Two new cameras with all the latest technology have replaced old cameras, 1 at the uMngeni bridge in Howick and 1 at the Anew Hotel in Hilton.
Our older cameras are now starting to malfunction, so replacing is going to require some more capital investment. Any businesses or persons who would like to contribute to the safety and security of the uMngeni area please contact Deon at UCSI on 063 068 9562 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
