This is natural, indigenous forest at its very best. The Milestone Forest Walk, which is on the historic farm where the very first conservancy in South Africa started in 1978. The circular walk takes your through an indigenous forest, known as Afro Montane or Midlands mist-belt forest. Some 17 trees are marked to assist in identification. The route, a cut path, will take around an hour to complete (although you can turn back at any point). Point A on the route will take you to some very old, huge magnificent trees.
