End the year off in a flamboyant way – KZNTR’s Flaming Flamingo has arrived!

For the first time ever, KZNTR introduces a New Year’s Eve event, nothing like we’ve held before! Run, walk combine the two as we leave 2019 behind and start 2020 off right – out on the trails with family and friends.

Search your closets and get your craziest outfit ready for a New Year’s Eve escapade as we celebrate a year of beautiful trails, personal goals, invaluable experiences and a cracking trail community!

Pre-entries close on 31 December 2019 at midday, no late entries available.

Registration opens at 4:30pm at Lifespark on race day. Runners and walkers welcome.

Run your own experience and crush your boundaries on the 1,72km course that is perfect for your first (or 100th) ultra. You can do a single lap, 5km, 10km, half-marathon, marathon or ultra and earn your finisher’s badge/cookie.

The best part? There are no DNFs at Flaming Flamingo! You can finish in your own time during the 6 hours and that will be recorded. The final lap will start latest at 11:50pm allowing everyone to finish at 11:59:59pm for the lighting of the flamingo (please note that no living/real flamingos will be harmed).

The whole family can join in for the year-end trail jol! The KZNTR KidZone will be available to look after your little ones (2yrs+). A large play area will be available for their entertainment, kids pump track and mattresses if they need a nap.

Seasons Café will be your race village for the night so food and drinks will be flowing throughout!
