After 8 years running Cooking Bear as a formal restaurant Peter and Cathy Hall wanted a new challenge, some flexibility and to have fun. Cooking Bear Pop-Up Restaurant will certainly offer them all that.
What is a Pop-Up? Peter tells us that once or twice a month Cooking Bear Pop-Up Restaurant will offer a special one-off Cooking Bear menu at someone else’s premises; they will ‘Pop-Up’. An established concept is working well in Europe, that Peter and Cathy are excited to bring to the Midlands.
Peter and Cathy explain the Pop-up rationale and format as: -
A good deal. Great food at reasonable prices.
Periodic, probably just once or twice a month. Always a surprise.
You will be served Cooking Bear favourites.
Simple really and no more than you would expect for a dinner party at your own home.
The meal will be fixed price and a fixed menu which means that we will not be able to cater specially for vegetarians or allergy sufferers. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Cooking Bear pop-up will be popping-up at Crusty Corner Restaurant, Howick on Saturday – let us know if you were one of the lucky ones to attend this special event.
