This year's Valentine's Day celebrations at Howick High School ended with the Inter-House Gala. The spirit at the event was fantastic and spectators were treated to some excellent swimming. Including the pre-gala events, a total of 19 records were broken.
In the Under 14 age group, Savanna Buchanan and Bryce Mitchell were the runners up with Lisa Munro and Tyrone Gibbs the Champions. In the Under 15 age group, Kirsten Mingay and Orin Rubidge were runners up with Sarah Mingay and Nicholas Goudemond the Champions. The Under 16 runners up were Kate Venter and Ruari Karlsen with Jenna Pike and Duen Janesen van Rensburg as the Champions. The overall Victrix and Victor Ludorum awards were presented to Kelsey Ebersohn and Adam Friedel, with Grace Crooks and Ian Bray being the runners up.
The winning House was Oatlands (Green) with Allemans (Yellow) in 2nd Place. The Spirit Cup went to Allemans.
