As part of our integrated learning curriculum, Howick Pre-Primary School chose to support National Water Month. As part of this learning journey, the children have had many wonderful opportunities to support our environment.
These activities included visiting our local Wetlands to learn all about frogs as well as learning all about trees and forests and the importance of saving them. To end off our Forest and Jungle theme, our Chameleon, Owl and Ladybird groups planted an indigenous tree in our local park
.
We would like to say a VERY BIG thank you to Gareth-John Keough from Gardenatomy for donating a beautiful Bush Willow Tree and for teaching us all about how to plant a tree correctly so that it is able to grow big and strong!
