Howick High School’s Eco-Club have been registered members of the WESSA Eco-Schools Program since 2014 where they have undertaken challenges and projects across numerous environmental themes, like Recycling, Water Issues, Biodiversity, Community work and the like. For their work in 2016 they were awarded their Silver Eco-Schools award; in 2017 they achieved the prestigious Mini Green Flag award and, for their work in 2018, they have been awarded their Gold Award.
In 2019 by sustaining the projects they have worked on before, and adding new themes to their portfolio, they are working towards the esteemed International Green Flag Award, making Howick High known as an Eco-school.
We congratulate Mrs Kate Keough and the club on their efforts and wish them well in their endeavours. Pictured below.
