The Arthritis Foundation recently released guidelines on CBD, making them the first member of the medical community to do so. What they had to say was encouraging.
They acknowledged that although rigorous clinical studies are still needed, CBD may help with arthritis-related symptoms, including pain, insomnia and anxiety.
Among the key takeaways, two things stood out to us at The Hemp People:
1. While CBD in moderate doses has no major safety issues, potential drug interactions have been identified, therefore always consult with your doctor first.
2. Buy from a reputable company that independently tests each batch for purity, potency and safety and provides a certificate of analysis.
