The UCSI is working hard. November and December so far have proved to be busy and successful, but somewhat frustrating as well. There are still gaps in our network that we need to close. We can only do this with your support. CAPEX donations go towards the physical erection of the gantries, but OPEX is the most critical as this is the monthly income that keeps the UCSI sustainable.
The UCSI continues to work alongside and build relationships with Law Enforcement Officials and affiliated security companies, namely Knight Security Solutions, Ballid Security and PMB Security. Herewith is a summary of recent successes and alerts.
Thanks to SAPS
The UCSI would like to extend our thanks to our locals SAPS. Howick and Hilton SAPS have been amazing and incredibly responsive and supportive. Now with Mpophomeni SAPS now under new leadership and a keen interest shown in the UCSI, we look forward to developing that relationship. Also thanks to Nottingham Road SAPS who are always there when we call them. The local SAPS Flying Squad are also brilliant – thanks guys.
Who are the affiliated Security Companies?
- Knight Security Solutions
- Ballid Security
- PMB Security
These affiliated security companies have “bought” into holistic COMMUNITY safety. Has your security company affiliated? To become an affiliated security company they need to register with the UCSI and make a monthly contribution in order to receive information about “alerts” generated locally, so that they can assist Law Enforcement with criminal incidents and man-power in the area.
Be a part of a “Best Practice Model” community project and help make a difference, locally, in KZN and South Africa.
