The classes at Funda Nenja are run by instructors who are young people from the local community. The majority of these youngsters (mainly boys), have normally taken part in the classes with their own dogs and have moved through the program progressing up to the more advanced classes. As we do lose some instructors at the end of each year, due to them finishing school and finding employment, we are constantly looking for potential new instructors to fill in the gaps.
This year we have asked Izwilenkosi Nxumalo and Lyuanda Mabaso if they would be interested in becoming intern instructors. They were delighted to be offered the opportunity and eagerly arrived last Friday to start.
We look forward to watching these 2 young people develop leadership and teaching skills and are thrilled to have a young lady join our group of instructors.
