Christmas came a little early this year at Angels' Care Centre, but it brought to life the true meaning of magic, hope and kindness. We were able to hand out OVER 350 Christmas presents to children who otherwise would have nothing. The gifts all included a facecloth, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, vaseline, a bag of sweets and of course an age-appropriate gift. They also walked out with a hotdog, juice, and a hot cooked meal (and maybe a cupcake or two).
We honestly cannot THANK every single person who helped us make this possible enough. It has been an incredibly tough year for everyone but again our Angels' Care community pulled together and helped us bring so much JOY to so many little, precious lives.
A HUGE thank you also needs to go out to our staff who put in countless hours packing each present, sorting each age group, and sourcing gifts and food to make sure it was a special day the children could treasure.
I truly was blown away by the smiles, hugs and pure joy. Your smalls acts of kindness and generosity helped us change the lives of many children. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and all the little hearts you helped us touch. Kindness in giving creates love and that is exactly what happened this Saturday.
