Tomorrow (October 9) is World Hospice & Palliative Care Day and this year’s theme is ‘Leave no one behind – equity in access to palliative care’. With the world still in the grips of COVID-19, palliative care is more vital than ever. The day highlights the importance of palliative care and why we must make sure everyone has access, no matter what their background is. Fundraising has been limited during the pandemic and we need support from our community to ensure we are able to care for everyone.
