The guided Nature Walk up Inhlosane Mountain was a great success! The mist did not deter any of us, and it was a very pleasant morning after the insane heat we had in the Dargle this past week.
The Dargle Conservancy invited Specialist Nature Guide, John Roff, to give us some interesting info, he pointed out orchids growing on trees, another tree whose leaves have soap like properties and was used to wash in a clear mountain stream, he shared inspiring stories, a poem and we even had a penny whistle tune which made us feel like we had been transported to Ireland!
If you were unable to make it this time, we shall arrange another walk in the Dargle in the next couple of months so please stay tuned to our social media pages!
