Funda Nenja's dog school classes are largely dependent on the input of our young instructors who have all themselves previously gone through the programme with their own dogs. This peer to peer approach has many advantages. Instruction can be given in isiZulu, the instructor can relate to the learner, some learners feel more comfortable with an instructor closer in age to themselves and the instructors benefit from increased self-worth, personal growth, leadership training and much more.
All in all, its a win-win scenario.
