April turned out to be a rather successful month for vehicles found. Numerous vehicles sent to SAPS and a few arrests made. Unfortunately that does mean that we have had a spike in stolen and suspect vehicles in our area. Please be vigilant at all times.
Poaching season is also upon us. We are keeping an eye on the suspect vehicles, but we cannot stop a vehicle just because they carrying dogs.
Targeted vehicles at this time: Older model bakkies and sedans, eg Nissan 1400 bakkie.
Please consider supporting the UCSI. These actions do cost money. Only a small percentage of the Umngeni community are contributing to the camera system that helps protect all.
