It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The most magical time of the year is upon us. Bring your family and friends out to the Absa Karkloof Country Club to spend some time soaking up the sun and breathing the fresh air out on our trails or come and join us in our café for a delicious meal and cold drinks. We have something for everyone out here, so come and join us in having fun and making memories.
Festive Season Announcements
- The Club will be closed on Christmas day to give our dedicated staff a well deserved break, but of course the trail network will still be accessible for our members.
- Come and join us for our annual TUBE RACE on Boxing Day (26 December) for some epic fun in the sun.
TRAILS UPDATE
This week we’ve had some welcome rain which has settled the dust on the trails. This also means that the trails are going to be nice and fast, but there are some slippery patches to watch out for!
The trails team has been hard at work making sure the trails and the club grounds are looking great before they take their Christmas break.
NB – Please note that due to proposed timber harvesting operations in 2025 most of the marked distance routes are going to be changing. This will happen systematically over the course of the next few weeks.
TIMBER OPERATIONS
Lebanon Pass, Sisonke, and KA19 depot are all open again until the 6th of January when timber operations will resume.
WEATHER UPDATE
After a fairly wet week it looks like we are going to have some great weather this weekend. The days are going to get nice and warm with possible showers in the late afternoons.
Fri: 16°/28°
Sat: 18°/27°
Sun: 18°/28°
Have a very merry Christmas.
