These boys attended trials with the Northern KZN Rugby Union where a combined side was selected to attend a trial match as the Country Districts Inland team against a Country Districts Coastal side. The following boys represented the Country Districts Inland team:

U15: Kellan Scott
U16: Tumelo Govender
U18/19: Ezra Robertson, Logan Reece
From this trial match, the following boys were invited to represent the final Country Districts team which attended the final KZN Rugby Trials:

We are pleased to share that one of our 1st XV Coaches, Mr Travis Nightingale, has been appointed as the U16 Midlands Rugby Coach as well as the KZN Country District Head Coach for the 2025 season.
“These selections are a source of great pride for Howick High School, and they reflect the strength and depth we are building in our rugby program, as well as the dedication of our players and coaches. Their dedication, skill, and hard work have earned them well deserved recognition. Their journey through the Midlands trials, into the Country Districts selections, and for some, onto the final KZN trials, is a testament to their commitment and the strong rugby culture growing at our school. We commend every boy who wore a jersey this season, and we celebrate those who took their performances to the next level.
