The joy of fluff balls. While not as busy as some previous seasons, baby Barn Owl season at FreeMe Wildlife has seen the arrival of several Barn Owl chicks, all of which could not be returned to nests or parents due to a combination of injuries and demolished sites. While we lost some of the chicks due to the severity of their injuries, the remaining orphans are put together in stimulating environments in what we fondly call 'owl playschool' giving them the opportunity to grow and learn and bond.
We love what we do, and how we do it.
