'Over the past few weeks, we've being introducing these two Thick-tailed Bushbabies to each other. Since one is much older, we needed to be careful he did not bully the youngster. The youngster was also a little small to sleep in an outside enclosure without sufficient warmth. Now that they are pals, they can be left together permanently, and even released together.
These little guys are slow developers, only leaving their mother at 15 months of age. This means we will be keeping them until at least 10 months of age, when we will then introduce them to a soft release enclosure at point of release for the last few months. The older of the two is now just over three months of age.'
