Working with ToPS Species (Threatened or Protected Species).
These two Common Reedbuck lambs are now fully weaned, grazing all day long and still growing. This means it's nearly time for their release. We have chosen a spectacular site on the Hlatikulu Conservancy which is to be their new home in the wild.
These two lambs, a ram (ear tag in right ear), and a ewe (ear tag in left ear), are now ready for release. This species in commonly seen in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands areas. They need your help to survive the onslaught on dog poaching in these areas.
But first... there's work to be done. We need to get them used to their transport crates so it it's easy to catch them, and far less stress on them for the journey to their new home.
We love what we do, and how we do it.
