Welbedacht is a poor community near Chatsworth where #StrayPaws help the animals with feeding schemes and veterinary care. They called us to do a steri clinic for cats. Over the 2 days we sterilised 61 cats, they were also vaccinated for rabies.
On Saturday we set up in a church and Sunday on someone's front porch. Well done to Shabnam and her volunteers for trapping cats and ensuring many more kittens are saved from a life on the street.
We had an audience of small boys on Sunday, so Dr Lee took the opportunity to educate them on what we were doing. They were scared of cats, but she managed to convince them to stroke a cat that was under anesthetic.
